Rangeen Khidki Foundation is a youth-led feminist organisation committed to advancing gender justice and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). We work across both rural and urban communities with youth, adolescents, key stakeholders & diverse identities to create inclusive environments. Through workshops,storytelling, and advocacy, we equip young people with the tools to challenge systemic inequalities. Our work focuses on helping adolescents build confidence, learn about their rights and bodies, and make informed decisions. We also train peer leaders, educators, and community stakeholders to support young people better and become changemakers in their own spaces. At Rangeen Khidki Foundation, we believe that change begins when young people are empowered with the knowledge, support, and freedom to shape a just and equitable world.

Sanjina Gupta is the founder and CEO of Rangeen Khidki Foundation. She is a Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights Consultant, trained Menstrual Health facilitator, sexuality educator and has been working in the thematic area of health and education for more than 10 years. She has been associated with various not-for-profits and research-based organizations has worked extensively in rural Bengal, Kolkata, rural Bihar, Mumbai and rural Maharashtra. Sanjina specialises in gender and sexuality and is known to have delivered multiple workshops and projects around gender equity, sensitization, strategizing programs pertaining to inclusive sexual and reproductive health rights for young persons across the gender spectrum.
Sanjina is a Changeloomer with Pravah, a Changemaker with Arrow For Women and Global Shaper with World Economic Forum from Kolkata. She has planned and delivered Menstrual Health sessions, gender and sexuality programs and comprehensive sexuality education trainings to multiple government schools, civil society organizations, teachers, groups of parents. Sanjina has delivered training of trainers as well as community-based programs in the SRHR, gender, sexuality and Menstruation space for some of the leading organizations in west bengal and India. She is a feminist aspiring to create safe spaces and enabling adolescents and young people to access their rights towards their sexual and reproductive health and reach their truest potential.
Krubhakar is a science enthusiast and an aviation professional working with the industry for past ten years. Krubhakar grew up with the constant thought of giving back to the society and tried his best in contributing in multiple social initiatives facilitated by non-profit organizations. Krubhakar believes that all individuals on the gender and sexuality spectrum has the right to live with dignity and Rangeen Khidki Foundation (RKF) is the culmination of this very belief. Krubhakar is also an environmentalist-in-progress and is associated with various initiatives in the city of Kolkata. In his time with RKF, Krubhakar plans to continuously contribute in challenging gender stereotypes, encourage gender equity and amplify the voices of the unheard through its initiatives.
Adrika Sengupta is the Head of Programmes at Anjali, a rights-based mental health organisation in Kolkata, West Bengal. Anjali works to humanise public mental health institutions, create community ecosystems for psychosocial support and advocate for progressive mental health policies. Adrika has a Masters degree in Mental Health from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai and one in Global Health from Kings College London, UK. Her professional and academic interests are health and mental health, social justice, and public policy and has been continuing to contribute in the mental health space over half a decade now. Through her association with RKF, Adrika envisions to understand and highlight various intersectionalities existing in the space of mental health, gender and SRHR.
Muskan Aggarwal who is a final year student of psychology, political science and economics at the Symbiosis School for Liberal Arts, Pune. Her interests lie at the intersection of gender and public policy. She is striving to learn, unlearn and relearn and constantly starting more things than she can finish.
Muskan feels that working with a dynamic organization like Rangeen Khidki has given her valuable knowledge of the challenges and opportunities in the field of SRHR. As a core member mostly involved in resource mobilization, "even working back stage feels like I'm part of something meaningful."
Shoi is a Dalit, feminist, trans non-binary artist, and social work professional with a Master's degree in Social Work, specializing in Dalit and Tribal Studies and Action from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. They use art as a medium of activism and self-expression, advocating for equity, representation and visibility.
At Rangeen Khidki Foundation, they currently serve as the Program Weaver and lead the queer-trans vertical within the organisation. Since joining the organization in 2021, they have been a part of the Rangeen Khidki's journey in multiple capacity, starting as an intern. They believe Rangeen Khidki has given them space to explore, learn, connect, engage and has given them a defined yet constantly growing idea and direction to their purpose.
Nayna started her journey as a youth/peer educator in 2020 with a group of adolescents. Nayna has completed her graduation from Calcutta University in Bachelors of Arts and holds a diploma in elementary education from West Bengal Board of Primary Education.
In the last few years, Nayna grew in her role of being a peer educator/leader to community mobiliser in her village who single handedly mobilised not just younglings of the village, but also managed to mobilise their parents especially mothers. She designed strategies and plans of action to engage the group adolescents as well as the mothers. After learning and talking about different aspects on gender and SRHR across different spaces, She has recently joined Rangeen Khidki as a full time staff where she is assisting the lead trainer in designing informative sessions on SRHR and delivering them across different government schools. Nayna is a changemaker who is not just introducing change in her own life, but also across hundreds of other adolescent girls.
Sumana is a young person who has emerged as a leader from our existing community of adolescent changemakers. Sumana has been leading community mobilisation in her village and has also been assisting Rangeen Khidki’s team in delivering impactful workshops and sessions across different topics in other schools and communities. Currently Sumana is serving the role of a Community Development Lead and Mobiliser among others.
Pallabi is a young changemaker and has been working with Rangeen Khidki Foundation as a dedicated Finance Officer with a strong background in numbers. Along with her training in finance, Pallabi also holds a Master’s degree from Rabindra Bharati University. Pallabi describes herself as someone with a passion for empowering communities and a keen eye for financial detail.
Sumi holds Masters in Bengali Literature from Rabindra Bharati University and is currently pursuing a Diploma in 'Inclusive Education & Development' from NSOU. Sumi has been in the social development sector for more than 4 years of experience and has a special interest in education and development of children and adolescents. She has worked with various stakeholders in school ecosystems and communities.
Sumi has joined Rangeen Khidki Foundation as a Program Associate, and wants to learn more about adolescent and youth centric SRHR and aspires to create safer environment for youths and adolescents.
Swapna works with Rangeen Khidki Foundation as a Program Coordinator leading Project Tamanna. Swapna holds a master's degree in psychology, and holds many accolades as an academician. Through her involvement in workshops, seminars, and an internship in Kolkata, West Bengal, she was able to obtain on-ground experience which she brings to the table. She also holds a diploma from Azim Premji University in teaching young learners with learning difficulties. Swapna is keen to look at intersections of mental health and SRHR and is deeply passionate about working with adolescents and youth. Swapna believes in empathy, kindness and teamwork which helps her lead on-ground implementation of social impact programs.
Professor Suhrita Saha is heading the department of sociology in the prestigious institute named Presidency University in Kolkata.
She holds a PhD in sociology from Jawaharlal Nehru University and has been teaching in Presidency since 2013.
Dr.Saha has been interested in understanding the society using her exper sociological lens and believes in bringing about a constructive and sustained change in the world. She has been associated with Board of Studies Member, and has served prestigious positions as a Joint Coordinator of NAAC, Examination Centre In Charge, Routine Committee In charge, etc.
As part of her the advisory team for Rangeen Khidki, Dr. Saha has been a constantly guiding the team in the bridging the gap between theory and practice so as to create impactful changes through its work.
Neha is the ex-CEO of Pravah, a leading Delhi-based NGO that works on adolescent, youth development & youth centric development among Indian youth. Neha works to build alliances with other sectors such as the academic institutions, community groups, government, and corporations. She has engaged with different UN agencies as well as several national and international fora to advocate for youth development and youth centric development programmes and approaches.
Neha brings with her expertise of designing & facilitating cutting edge interventions across diverse stakeholders & across multiple focus area including adolescent & youth development, SDGs, leadership development & organizational development. She is a core member of the Pravah senior design & facilitation team & has worked with diverse organizations across sectors. Neha is on the board of different adolescent & youth engaging organisations and mentors several young social entrepreneurs across the country. Neha is a mentor for the entire team at Rangeen Khidki and the biggest cheerleader for the team.
Souvik is a developmental sector practitioner with 8+ years experience of working at global, regional (Asia-Pacific), national and sub-national levels in advocacy, research and capacity building in the areas of sexual and reproductive health and rights (especially abortion), adolescent health and gender equality. Currently, he works as the Programme Manager-India under Restless Development, a global youth development entity. Earlier, he had worked with The YP Foundation and Public Health Foundation of India (Bhubaneshwar). Souvik is the current chairperson of CommonHealth, a national-level CSO coalition on reproductive health and safe abortion. He is serving as a member of WHO-PMNCH's reference group on Adolescent Well-being and steering committee on Meaningful Adolescent and Youth Engagement. He is a DAAD scholar and a Rise Up fellow (PHI, USA). He holds a master’s degree in public health and bachelor’s degree in dental surgery. He believes in an inter-generational and intersectional approach to foreground young people's engagement in decision-making and accountability processes.
At Rangeen Khidki, Souvik's role is to support the team and mentor them with regards to policy engagement, and designing interventions which are policy informed and driven by evidence.
Naghma currently serves as the CEO of EdelGive Foundation. She is also a Director on the Board of the Foundation. Over the last decade of her association with EdelGive, Naghma has driven the vision of the foundation, strengthening its core principles of collaborative philanthropy; and transforming it from a grant-making foundation to a philanthropic asset management platform, today.
Often describing herself as an ‘accidental’ addition to the development sector, Naghma left behind her achievements as a chartered accountant in pursuit of a career in the sector. Over the years she has forged valuable partnerships with diverse international and Indian stakeholders; and been the brainchild for several innovative collaborations across Education, Migration, Women, Climate and Capacity Building.

Luis Miranda is Chairman of the Centre for Civil Society and CORO. He is a Co-Founder of the Indian School of Public Policy and Take Charge, a mentoring programme for Catholic youth in Mumbai.
Luis spends his time, with his wife, connecting dots; using their networks to help the organisations they are connected with. Fiona and Luis are also #LivingMyPromise signatories, where they have pledged to give away at least 50% of what they have to charity during their lives or in their wills. He is also on the board of Educate Girls and SBI Foundation. He has been involved in setting up 2 highly successful companies - HDFC Bank and IDFC Private Equity. Luis received an MBA from the Booth School of Business at The University of Chicago and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
At Rangeen Khidki, Luis is supporting our programs and also mentoring us in organisational development and resource management.
Dr. Fiona Dias Miranda has a Doctorate in Microbiology from the University of Dayton, Ohio, where she served as faculty as also later, at St. Xaviers College, Mumbai. Her own kids and her teaching years at University led her to observe that addressing aspects of sexual education in young adolescents was equally important along with formal education. Seeing this lack of ad-dressal, it inspired her to start her series of - Reproductive and Sexual Health Awareness since 2008 for adolescents (ages of 8–16 years), parents and teachers.
She serves as director, faculty and facilitator with the NGO Seeds of Awareness and Research Foundation - an organisation that does Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) with adolescents through experiential methodology thus enabling informed choices. It also trains and enables facilitators to create safe spaces and reduce shame and stigma around sexuality by working on their own biases and judgements. Currently, Fiona is also a director with the NGO 17000 Ft Foundation which works towards transforming lives in rural villages of Ladakh primarily via education. Fiona does find the time for the other love of her life - music, performing both in India and abroad.
She is supporting Rangeen Khidki through her technical knowledge and experience in the space of comprehensive sexuality education and facilitation.
Sudhir is currently the Senior Vice President and Executive Management leader at Equate Petrochemical and he is leading Equate’s global commercial, supply chain and HR. He is focused on building organisations driven by compassionate capitalism. An active proponent of inclusive, purpose driven and values led businesses.
Sudhir is a disability inclusion champion supporting Karmann, a non profit that creates employment for persons with disabilities through creating self-sufficient and socially healthy communities. Along with Karmann, Sudhir dedicates time towards different organizations including Rangeen Khidki Foundation where mentors us on a range of components like leadership, sustainability and others.
A running and cycling enthusiast, passionate about people, causes, and fitness and we are super excited to having him join us as a mentor/cheerleader.
Tista is the Communications Associate at Rangeen Khidki Foundation and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Lady Brabourne College, Kolkata. Their interests include gender-queer studies, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), trauma studies, and social work. At Rangeen Khidki, they contribute to various aspects of communications—creating engaging resources, curating informative social media content, and amplifying the organization’s message to a wider audience. Tista enjoys engaging with diverse, intersectional identities, and their sociological lens enables them to view individuals beyond monolithic representations. They are passionate about using storytelling and advocacy to drive social change and aspire to work at the intersection of communication, care, and community healing.
Rituparna Gharami is currently pursuing her masters in social work from NSOU. She holds two years of experience in social development work at community levels which gives her the ability to really connect with different constituencies and lead impact. She is working with Rangeen Khidki Foundation as Field Associate. As a field associate, her role involves engaging with the community and rolling out informative workshops not just with adolescent girls but also with stakeholders like their parents. Rituparna also supports the team in documentation management and MIS management.
